HTC is not expands to any market. HTC works with specific countries, and, this is the cause for the Jamaican telecoms to not sell HTC. HTC just not interested in such markets, exactly as HTC declined producing Nexus for google. The same nVidia declined to develop PlayStation4, and many more BIG offers examples.
@iXperia 4eva - This Symbian OS was the biggest fail of nokia. because symbian they once almost gone bankrupt.
@all - we have a technical guy there, that states that statistics says that Nokias break more than HTC. This can only confirm one thing - "no really matter how it build, the durability matters!"

No ony of my HTCs overheated. be it Desire HD, Sensation, One X or One. -_- don't know what you talk about overheating, and i live in Israel under +40 heat. how come? o_O

Android is Open Source and every developer is welcome to use. Open Source always rule over commercial solutions, due to it's nature.

To the topic:
The best sellers will always be sued by the competitors, fact. HTC never broke somebody's patents as i remember. There is some mistake, perhaps ST(Sony's micro electronics manufacturing) is the target. The fact that ST having the conract with HTC now too, the big questions is still :
1) WHO WILL PAY TO WHO ? :)))
2) Will ST stick to Nokia's conract or switch to HTC?
3) Who of these two can assure higher orders ?=)

Nokia is childs p... moreSince you're a technician as you claim, then you should know that the easier inner components are the more service options the customer can find. oh btw since you're saying that Nokia's break more often than the htc does then why does the htc has got over heating problems?? Oh you know why?? maybe of the bad boards and materials they use in their phones just like what Sammy does!
If you searched the web for the inner components of both htc and nokia you can see how neat nokia is.
Again being easy to repair is an advantage unless you consider it as a challenge :)

Nokia is the old and big MNC and before pointing out to another MNC you should verify whose fault is it [HTCs or STElectronics], its not a child game crying over ones domination in the market. And coming to Windows i prefer HTC 8X to Nokia Lumia, i dont want a rock in my pocket, i need a phone.

HAHAHA!) also in Jamaica none of the Networks sells HTC Phones yet 98% own a Nokia?
