and i'll tell you why...it just sucks... 4.7 inch screen and 6 mm thicknes is like holding a plate in your hand...ergonomic or not it's really not a good idea...for one pickpockets will have a BOOM in their career...here is an example... Pickpocket 1 - " MAAAN look at that guys wallet it's almost bursting...i'm going for it." Pickpocket 2 - " Noo MAAAAAN check it out...He has one of those Plate Phones that sell for over 500 euros...Let's go for that MAAAAAN cause it's a safe bet" The End ;)

huh... highly thick... m waiting for a phone wid hairline thickness n 10" screen which can easily fit on my pants pockets... is that possible?? LOL...
what has happened to these companies?? they r just competing with themselves for making better products of their own buy not willing to make phones that can satisfy customer's needs... m sure someone will come with 5mm thickness n still will lack lots of things...

It does not matter if companies are copying each other, i really don't care and i find it annoying to read repeated comments in every news/articles/reviews about phones, i think it's easy to program a bot to just repeat those comments.
What matter is: does phone companies care about design? i mean the thinness of the phone is just another "megapixel-war", more pixels does not mean better photos but camera marketing will always try to convince people that the more pixels the better ... and i know, someone will talk about Nokia 808 41mp camera, i think that is an exception :-)
Anyway, i find too thin phones hard to handle and i don't mind if phone companies add few MM to put a larger battery, better camera and to make it easy to handle the phone.

even 1cm thick phone is OK and even more comfortable to hold (ergonomically shaped) as long as it has a decent battery! I think at least 90% people agree with me about that.

Chillout poeple! Almost every Chinese and Korean company is copying these days. Unfortunately there is no "REAL" law to stop them! Look at the biggest copycat on the planet Samsung! Nothing will stop them! Sad but true! Days of vendors individuality are long gone!

I can feel the difference between my SGS3 and SGS2
and it's less than 1mm.
For those saying thin phones are hard to handle, this can be true of smaller screen phones and heavier ones. When your in 4.5" to 5" territory, have a defined edge around the phone, and it's light (under 120g) then thinner makes it easier to manage not harder.
As for battery concerns...advances are allowing for batteries to be thinner and longer by the day so shouldn't be a problem

any phone with headphone jack at the side means you can't put your phone in jeans while listening to music. I cannot feel difference between 10mm phone and 7 mm phone anyway

At 6.1mm i guess the battery would be less than 1500mAh so it'll probably fail
