Man I am looking for this ASHA phone. Just hope that they give it top of the line specs(and at least 3G :p). I have been using a Micromax Ninja as my secondary phone and damn it is a pain. The Android 2.3 keeps on crashing and hanging and browser keeps collapsing. Bought it in first place to experiment with Android (primary phone being BB), but longing to have some economical phone to replace Micromax S##t. Nokia's quality is far ahead of Micromax and Karbonn.

I think Nokia should team up with Canonical and make a Nokia + Ubuntu Phone. The Ubuntu Phone OS is really hot and promising. I think Ubuntu has the guts to digest both Android and iOS with out a hick-up.

Nokia - Stop being Microsoft's little girl. You once ruled the industry and you still can. Just be your self and start listening to your customers first (not MS).

Mr. Developer, 08 May 2013Companies like karbon, micromaxx have better phones than who... morePlease man, those don't compare the likes of Micromax and Karbonn to Nokia, they are no way near the quality of Nokia. These phones are just chinese rebranded phones, no guarantee if their parts will also be available after 6 months. I had a karbonn phone, it spent 4 months in service centre cause parts where not available. On top they told me that they won't increase my warranty period for the those 4 months lost. Micromax and Karbonn don't even have proper service centres.

Anonymous, 08 May 2013nokia is even struggling to sell symbian and the poplar win... moreNokia is not selling Symbian now. Erasing all S60 support from Nokia site just to please MS but W8+s40 non can save this organisation. Take Jolla as main OS and run Belle FP2 for atleast 2 more years with some good mid range sets.
S40 is best for simple phones.

As much as I love Nokia but feature phones are now obsolete. Smartphones have dominated even the lowest segment of the market. Nokia used to sell 80 million and more S40 phones per quarter but now they can no longer sell more than 10 million Asha. Android has dominated even the entry-level. Elop made the worst and biggest mistake ever in ditching Symbian instead of relegating it to the low-end. For the price of an Asha you can already buy a dualcore Android smartphone. I can't believe Nokia is allowing Elop to stay any longer. He's so incompetent. He's so slow to respond to and doesn't know what the market needs and keeps shoving this obsolete mess to their throats.
