Life is full of compromise, just like all the smart phone OS available. Some prefer smoothness, some prefer maturity, no need to insult an OS for something it doesn't have, just appreciate for what it has...

The discussion is not anymore about whether it needs optimization or not, it already evolved to which one is better, like all the discussions when you compare one thing to another.

People are arguing that even tho it is the best, it needs optimization. Some people side with Android and argue that it doesnt need any fix, optimization, it is lag free and it is the best os period. and thats where people disagree.

ive always admired google for their sense of humor, such as this, and also any type of special day which is celebrated by an animated "google" logo, design, or even game in their original search site google.com. when the game pacman was featured on the site (i think for its anniversary or something alike), i swear i went in searching for something and ended up playing it for hours and forgetting what i was working on lol

TBH while it's smooth, it's not without it's lag, there are times i try to go back on something and i have to wait 2-3 secs. I have high expectation of IOS when it comes to user experience but it's been pretty disappointing so far.

lolza, 22 May 2013Look at the wp trollfest below....octacore needed to compet... moremaybe now. but we'll see.:) I watched how to relieve S4 from lagging, and I tried it on my S3 but still....you want me to continue? i'm using S3 side by side with a L720. clearly, my 720 has fewer apps but I have ALMOST all of the apps I needed but it's smoothness is really addictive, not mentioning the camera even if it doesn't have the PV tech. imagine a mid-ranger, dual core WP beats the heck out of my 5month-old S3. what more if I use a high-end WP device? I just bought my 720 a week ago so I'm still quite unfamiliar with it. for me, mid-tier WP device is a good back up for my S3, OR, if I have a high-end WP device, maybe iTouch5 is a good back up for it because mid-tier Android sucks. if you want Android, get a high-end one. if you can afford to buy 2 different phones with 2 different OSs (android + WP, WP+iOS, iOS+android) regardless if it's high end or mid-tier ones, try it! you just have to make a good combination.
I love both phones, because both of them are from my wallet. I need NOT to compare, or nonsense fanboyism coz i won't get anything from that.

Why do you need that much damn browsers if one will do all the job for you?
LAG, and the company is making crap jokes RPG with your hard earn cash..
HTC / Samsung / Sony - all are good phone makers. They putting all their best technologies into a lame OS, and they are suffering the lag shame because of this OS.
Google/android just hope more cores / ram will fix their lag issue.. its great shame.

Why take it so personal? After all is not your own skills or personality or whatsoever. It is the OS on your phone, just that!
Obviously someone saying Android or iOS are laggy or rubbish is not being objective at all.
I have been mostly on Android, and I think it's great, not only as an OS but all services around it.
Browser is slow? I don'g think so, but if it was, then you can install Chrome, Firefox, Opera... you name it. Now, what are the real alternatives other than IE in WP?
For work reasons, now i carry two phones: one is Android, and one WP. I really wanted to give WP a try, but there are so many things missing, and the Marketplace is so, so, poor....
And to the person saying that Android is for the poor who have no other choice, beyond the fact that it is not true (HTC One, Galaxy 4, Xperia Z are not exactly 10 bucks phones, right?), buddy, you have a mental/spiritual problem, and it has nothing to do with OSs, or gadgets or phones or technology.

Used to own HOX, not the + version though.
But the lag and random stutter was a joke.
Fancy 3D weather always was a stuttery mess. Return to home screen lag was in measured in Seconds.
Why would WP fans be scared?
