And it's like most people posting here are soldiers of Nokia vs Samsung war. Microsoft to rule them all?? Then you'll have only one screen type, one processor type... Come on! this is not like pc vs mac. PC won because there is variety! And WP?

I am glad Symbian and RIM are gone...the only reason Android is doing well is because you have almost everyone, except for Apple and Nokia, even crapy manufactures who also have their hands in TVs and washing machines...

I don't know what is your experience about nokia but I totally disagree with you. Nokia makes the best hardware (in all WP8 phone) much better than Samsung. Samsung has good features but it is cheaper materials and also lees durable. My samsung has fallen just from 1 metre and got serious crack. Samsung is the worst phonemaker for non-android low end phones. it doesn't have good softwre support. Their Galaxy series is really good.

Symbian has 0.3% share of smartphones sold in US. I thought it is alive only in India.

Almost 4 major version and 8 Subversion have passed. Still nothing and I bet even with Android 5, it won't work well with the low to mid range phones.

> In reply to Marty H @ 2013-06-04 08:38 from uBSH - click to readWhy shouldn't we? We have the right to compare any Android phone with other OS in the same price range.

If it needs minimum quad core and 2 GB for it run properly then that's the mistake of Google that their OS is not optimised to run on lower specs, while other OS can. If they don't want to, then Google should strictly tell the OEM's not to produce and any phone which is specd below quad core and 2GB or the manufacturers should themselves stop producing such phones.

> In reply to Marty H @ 2013-06-04 08:38 from uBSH - click to readYea. Android lag cannot be compared.

Its so laggy android users hide behind widget and home screen. Scrolling tweaking endlessly trying to comfort themselves.

Rushing to ask for updates.. hoping to get the next android update to fix their lag.. buying new phones every 6 mths just to keep up and hope that lag is gone.

Laughing at other OS saying they less advance, while they spend the rest of the days looking at tech forums and ways to solve their own embarrassing lag and misfortune. Spending all their time on ebay to buy cases / screen protectors to cover their frail plastic phones, which is lagging and weaker then glass.
