Don't compare the Ace.

You need a minumim of quadcore and 2GB.
The you'll see what true smoothness is.

That's the trouble.
People don't use their phones correctly and complain androids has lag when they don't use custom rom and kernel.

It doesn't have lag!
lag was something started by jealous WP users because it was fixed back in version 2.2. Just something they keep saying to feel better about been on old slow duo cores.

AnonD-58835, 04 Jun 2013WP sales increased as nokia is offering it free, as nobody ... moreAndroid is trash in low end and mid end with force closes, freezes, random reboots, random lag, and factory reset daily. Lumia 520 is the best low end phone out there with top ratings everywhere. Lumia 520 and 620 are game changers for Windows Phone.

AnonD-58835, 04 Jun 2013WP sales increased as nokia is offering it free, as nobody ... moreI take the Nokia Asha feature phone any day over an Android budget phone, i had the displeasure to own for 2 weeks the Galaxy Ace, what a junk...slow, random restarts, barely useable. I was naive to think that the Galaxy Ace could be a good backup phone. Wrong, I had to return it, so I changed for the Asha 311, only basic features but very stable phone.

Not to sure why they didn't mention bb10 was not released in the us during the period of this survey - in fact the Q 10 is being released this week. Why would anyone buy the old phone when the BB10 platform was about to be released. Now if they continue to drop in next year's results I would be concerned - given the runaway success of the Q10 everywhere it has been released a drop would be unlikely.

If BlackBerry phones stop costing 50 trillion dollars each, I think sales will pick up.

I think a price drop (or two - or three) will help sales quite a bit.

WP sales increased as nokia is offering it free, as nobody is buying that obsolete phone. Newest android such as s4 and htc one are not on this list. Moreover, there are many new android high end phones recently released that will appears in next report. Android is the king for next 5 years. Moreover, samsung is launched also low end android phones to remove asha nokia feature phones from the market. iOS iphone is not updated and next phone will be release at september. So, android is by far top1 in the world. Also what about tablets? android is the winner also against ipad.

WP8 yes, but since it is still the similar kind of looks from WP7 - 7.5, people already know about it. If it is gonna get traction, it will already happened long time ago. But instead, things are still looking gloomy till now.

So obviously you caught the bottom for Blackberry in mid April when almost no Z10 and absolutely no Q10 were ever sold in dear America.

Tell me your next reports but I can give you a hint now: Blackberry shares of smartphone in US climb to 10% sharply due to storng sales of Q10 and Z10.

Once you tried WP8, it's going to hard to go back to another OS. It's lag-free, super stable, reliable, no system crash, organized, consistent, and beautiful apps. Factory reset and freezes? don't have those on my WP8.
