Nokia should look at developing the Asha 501 beyond touch screen and 2G connectivity instead of presenting these failed products again.

It's a pitty they don't bring it back again with some more chip power and expressmobile.

Not everyone in this world can afford a £500 phone. People here would do well to realise that.

Some people are happy just managing to get their hands on a mobile phone. One market which I have observed is India. There are a lot of people there who are not very comfortable with table sized touchscreens. They need something that provides connectivity and is affordable. What android are you going to get at ~ INR 4500? Of course you will get a few, but they are going to make you pull your hair out with frustration. What with the lag and outdated OS versions.

Some people dont need a 13 MP camera or a quad core processor. High school students, moms at home, grandparents. They dont have the time, money or eagerness for fancy. They need their wants fulfilled. They need a basic phone which provides them with connectivity and is affordable. These Nokias perfectly address those needs.

                                Regards,

                                Alfalafa

People are not very smart. If you get a month on stand by you can be sure that the battery will not last long when making that call at the three week mark?.

Aside from that it looks li,e a sweet little phone
