On subject : a lot of people who had no interest in smartphones before will buy an iPhone because it's simple to use, and limited enough to make sure they can do no damage.
I personnally had Windows Mobile phones, then Android phones, then bought an iPod Touch to see what it was all about (so I had almost the same thing as an iPhone).
It's nice, but becomes boring really fast :(
I don't play that much on my phone / mp3 player, so looking at a list of icons has its limits :p
For music, it's nice enough though.
It's hard to use such a small screen when you get used to bigger ones though (HTC HD2, Galaxy S3 then S4 now)

It was not the first touchscreen smartphone and every one of it's features has been pinched from elsewhere. The design is bland and outdated, it hasn't changed much since the original iphone. Motorola was the first company to produce handheld mobile phone..
Nokia developed Finland's first mobile phone network, making Finland the first country in the world to have full mobile phone coverage for private citizens, that was year 1978..way way before Apple came to mobile market..
Dude these are called innovations..
Apple brought a revolution(Smart Phones : which are not so smart they can't iron my shirt and make breakfast for me....), not innovation..
Grown up buddy..
and for Samsung Fans don't say that Samsung innovated..they even can't innovate in terms of design..they innovated(copying) and making all their mobiles look like same utilizing each single millimetre of plastic they bought..

Even when Nokia is down it has given number of innovations in past years itself..Pureview remember 808 41MP, Samsung even reached the level of 20MP,low light imaging from 920,just go and check the comparisons with S3 or try even S4..

now please provide what samsung innovated..other than making all their phones look like same..

Very soon iPhone will be the world's only phone. By the rate Apple is going, they'll will hit 2015.
By 2018, Apple will be shipping 44 Billion iPhone... very soon, everyone will catch up. Having their 6th iPhone.

iOS 7 has shaken the world. Samsung fanboys will continue their mindless and futile bashing of iPhones and Apple.
S4 with android will have 2 years to prove themselves to be non-laggy and non-battery draining plus have quality apps. Else.. they will change place with WP8 and become third.
Its time for android's wakeup call!
