Yeahh! I will definitely buy this phone! I have been waiting for any non-mainstream phone yet has a good quality and physical keyboard.
Samsung makes a good move to introduce clam shell phone, really appreciate that. And it would be much nicer if other companies make their version of clam shell smartphones, so consumers will have more variety. Can't wait for it! ;)

I can see this being a huge seller among people who simply don't want to follow today's trends and want to stick with something they know and feel comfortable with. Frankly I'm shocked GSMArena don't see the potential in this and I wonder, if a certain American manufacturer had the idea, would they be praising it as ingenious?

Oh Yeah, I would definitely buy this. I'm waiting since such a long time to have this type of smartphone and was sad this was limited to full tactil types...

I'm 55 and always wanted a clamshell. I'm tired of making do with phones just because they do not cater to my age. I would buy one here in Canada

I'm sure there is a market for this device, I don't want one, but there are many phones I don't personally want that sell really well. Note 2, iphone and blackberry bold to name 3 and all have massive sales. There must be a market otherwise why would Samsung bother?

I know for a fact my mother would be happy to own this. She loves the touchscreen and Google cloud syncing (contacts, emails and stuff) but misses the button mashing of the olden days. Samsung has money to burn, like Nokia in the middle 2000's so they experiment. Samsung made a clam shell, big deal, yet Nokia went crazy with their contraptions the likes of which nobody has ever seen before, or after. Do not criticise, not all of us need a rocket to the Moon. Remember pointing fingers at the "too big to handle, frying pan" 5.3" Note? Now you're just happily praising all 5 inchers.

I am a clamshell phone lover. I would definitely want to get this if it ever come to Singapore as l find the current phone to be the same design only with different brands.

i want dual 1080 or 720 p screens (non pentile)
top of the line processor snapdragon 800 atm
flagship amount of ram atm 2gb but transitioning to 3/4gb
maybe 32gb internal + sd card
top of the line camera
i would pay anywhere between $800-1000 if i was guaranteed it would get android updates. but with a phone like this chances are itll only be supported half a year tops
