Nokias 41MP produce way better photo then S4. And if you feel like carrying a thick camera/phone in your pocket just for optical zoom, by all means, go ahead.
HTC one has 4MP camera, and it lacks detail. So something is in MP as well, yes, optics are important, but Sony an Nokia with Zeiss lenses have amazing optics.
I'm not saying Samsung sucks or anything, it's just not all that THE BEST BESTEST in every single way. Phones are cheap plastic, they lag a lot (read some articles about s4), s4 zoom looks ugly. Nokia doesn't lag with dual core cpu, and battery lasts for days

Would love to see how this camera is compared to my year old 808 pureview.. would be nice to see a camera test of this, lumia 1020, 808 pureview and the s4zoom.. although the s4 zoom is not of the same from factor..

Try using Zoom on the road as a phone... you will be a laughing stock
This phone is more ideal for personal usage, but would be better if they remove the software keys, add below the bezel, and give greater storage 128 or 64/64 slot to support the high res picture. Else its shame.

its not about the megapixels its the lens. try the S4 zoom. 16 meg with 10x optical zoom. that whips the ass of this. hands down. the only benefit is this phone is thinner.
Samsung are decades ahead of the rest of the world.
