Soon, we will see phones, that support recording videos in a glorious combination of smoothness and detail: 2160p@60fps. And then, we will have mobile screens with a refresh rate of 120fps, which can be throttled down manually for power saving. But I wonder, why the Galaxy Note 3 had 2160p video recording at 30fps, but not 1080p@120fps and 720p@240fps (and 720p@60fps for smooth, but space-storage-saving videos like the LG V series.) or even 270fps. In all three cases with HD at a framerate of 270fps, the image sensor reads out exactly 248832000 Pixels in one second.

Please consider, that the Liquid S2 can just shoot 3840×2160p@24fps. No DCi4K (256:135 4906×2160) nor 2160p@30fps. The first phone with 2160p@30fps was probably the Note 3. But the first phone to be able to optically stabilize 2160p video footage, that I know, is the LG G2pro. And then, G3 and Note 4 N910 came.
