Can't wait for this phone. Why would i want an ugly boring android... theyh all look the same on the screen... huawei, lg, samsung. Samsung, Please Add WP8 to the Note 3 and people would love u for it.

WP is just... well, a phone.

What do you need to download to your phone?. Gee I'm sorry that you can't pirate apps and games onto windows phone like with android. However Windows phone lets you save pictures to your phone from websites and emails and you can do everything else through SkyDrive. No you can't save zip/exe, but you can't run them anyway and you can't install/run non-store apps for security/piracy reasons...even the so popular iPhone doesn't allow downloading and file manager

downloading videos from YouTube, Call recording are available through 3rd party apps..
while barring/blacklisting are available on the phone after amber update....
I had no problem whatsoever with music metadata.. unfortunately you can't listen to downloaded music from the likes of www.youtube2mp3.com in the main music player but you can in 3rd party apps that can download music (not very practical though).. it doesn't have a file manager but it knows where to keep downloaded files it just doesn't make it easy to find thet.. but apps that are suposed too in most cases can see those files...
3rd party apps can update livetiles automatically but are limited to every 30 minutes...
but I do hope that these things will be fixed soon enough...

the only reason why there are still some nokias with resistive touch is because they still work (after years of use)... nokia has phones with longest lifespan.. built to last...

Firstly MS have not bought Nokia - only their devices and services business, secondly this could be more trouble for Nokia as MS will be using their staff and be learning all their 'secrets'...it could end up with Nokia just resorting to selling patents but being dead in the water.
I actually quite like the phones and the OS...but whoever told MS that metro UI looks good needs to be shot!!! I Just can't buy a WP8 (or 7), device as I can't change the UI. But to each their own.

Honestly, all this annoys me. Windows phone design sucks even with 1080p. Nokia sold to someone who doesn't understand mobile phones. I don't know, I could wine all day long if I wanted.
An android version of the 1020 should be build with all this "new" technology (1080p displays).
RIP Nokia, I have finally surrendered.

Ah.. two-three years ago Nokia led all of its eggs into the Microsoft Basket today Nokia completely gone into the jaws of Microsoft. Metro UI is good at some places but not all the times.
I owned Lumia 920 and believe me it even doesnot stand close to Android I won't talk about its apps it no file manager, cant download videos esp from YouTube, poor maps, no Call recording/barring/blacklisting Music MetaData many a times wrongcan't manage playlists
my smartphone does not know where to keep downloaded files total crap
Even if android has too less Widgets they do their work correctly and accurately,
third party tiles here in WP8 does not update Automatically
Both Nokia and Microsoft have wrong market policies
Nokia is always late by 9 months and Metro will be last chapter in Microsoft History
If you want to be the test tube babies for Nokia Microsoft then go for this Ugly Full Hd phone

hahaah my friends S3 cpu just blow up,he went to repair and they say cpu not covered by warranty...the funny thing is the third person i know whos S3 cpu just blow in just few month....Cheap phone with cheap build quality???who knows.....

How can a company that has a full featured browser for computers put a hacked up version of its browser in their phone is that doesn't support multiple tabs or even a back button be successful and claim they understand the mobile market? Microsoft, that's who. WP 8 sucks and Ms mobile support blows. Take your pick of what you like about this merger?
