Who cares that it's not sold globally? It has no card slot and only 16 gb of internal storage, thus making itself totally irrelevant.

A normal person just looks at the number of cores / clock speed / x GB ram etc..
While performance of this phone is much better because of the distributed chip architecture on its system board.
Moto x has 3 distinct processing units. 1 of them is the Central Processing Unit. So combined performance of the system, with software optimization becomes equivalent to some decent quad core processor.

Sanos, 12 Sep 2013Who cares that it's not sold globally? It has no card slot ... moreNot all has need for large memory, and it comes in both 16 and 32GB versions. That said, offering a 64GB version wouldn't hurt.

Erick, 12 Sep 2013Many will be surprised to learn that this device will not b... moreNobody ever thought that a device assembled in the us would ever make it to europe, it's just unfeasible from an economic point of view. We will provably get an international version (assembled in china) later this year.

Moto X the phone that always listens to you. But in the background it spies on you, the algorithm analyzes what you speak and pushes the ads in your gmail inbox and google search results based on what you spoke. I hope google won't sell those data to third party for marketing their products.

Sanos, 12 Sep 2013Who cares that it's not sold globally? It has no card slot ... moreYeah. And the flimsy sd card solution HAS TO STOP!!

If this is on PC.. its like this:

buy a 64gb ssd for your windows.. then buy a cheap dvd drive and rw dvd for your media? Isn't it a BIG JOKE?

Its time to move on moto! .. 64gb at least and push to the first 128gb PHONE! Now that Apple missed the chance.

Shipping and selling are two different things,
but let them talk. CEOs want to justified their bonuses and salaries.

Unfortunately Google has a lot of subsidy in US Market not like other countries, therefore it's crucial that the Moto X sells well in first instance in its natal country. Then the sells in other countries will not be so primordial beacuse Google has no Subsidy politics and probably the price of that gadget will increase.

This phone is quite nice to handle. I would get one if it was about 200 dollars cheaper.

It is stupid of Google to not release it a globally.
At-least a non-customizable version could have had a global release.
