For Mr kurotsuki
We were told to show this demo video
of the 8 cores been used to show true power of android
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fLrSTJECVaU
This demonstration shows a real application, Quickoffice, running on Android on the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa (5420) platform. The ARM® big.LITTLE™ multiprocessing (MP) scheduler automatically uses the resources of all 8 cores to deliver the best performance. This is big.LITTLE processing in action -- where we see the right core for the thread's performance demands being used.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8LNPxExkLMo
This one is angry birds using 8 cores.
Together let's praise Samsung for the TouchWhiz and 8 cores of processing.
We then were told to say "you have been pwned by 8 cores" and laugh at your slow WP laggy 2 cores

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013Invalid. My Sony shows notifications under the icon of an app. Not all app right?
Android is messy! Notificaiton everywhere, duplicated date/time widgets. No badges. It does not even close app and let it run as service!
Android pride customisation.. But i cannot customise to close my apps! I cannot customise my lag to have less lag or more lag.. its always lag.
WP8 is clean and is king!

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013Maybe you should misread my comment. I wouldn't want for d... moreThen what's those categories for? Phone notification? Already there in the livetile. You wouldn't remove phone app from home screen would you? Same goes for emails, messages, and appointments. As for social media, how do you know which apps are social media and which apps aren't?

WP8 is not best.
Android TouchWhiz is.
Sales will speak that with fact.
We also have a software update for an 8 cores full time system soon. WP is stuck at 2 cores. No other OS
can handle a double CPU output with just a firmware update right! Even Apple can't do that.
Number 1 professional smart phone users choice
is a Samsung handset with them selecting touchWhiz as the OS.

Its better to be a tile than a notification drawer.
since Microsoft is trying to update to 3D which will have more fancier interactions. just leave it the way it should be...

Well , IMO there are some people who do really worry and care about every single damn thing that pops up on the phone ( i meant notifications) . I always percieve that they are too obsessed with their phone . There are some people who dont really care . I personlly dont like getting annoyed every time when someone likes my facebook post . When i switch on the wifi ony my phone(obviously android) just to check my email . So many junk things that i dont care about pop up on the phone . Now i have to drop down and check which are useful to me and remove others . I tried to ignore the notification center by using widgets on my home screen and guess what ? Bingo ! The phone lags and the battery sucks . Thats the reason why i liked windows . Here i can have things that are important to me pinned as a tile and can neglect others . I think notification centre as a live tile is also a good idea . We dont have to open it every time we can just do it once a day or so . So that we can check for any thing we missed and we can use live tiles for day to day important things like message , email etc. Just my opinion . Another thing is that it wont hurt the battery like my android phone ( i use a htc and a lumia ).

The best notification center is still the notification LED in my opinion. No need to swipe or wake the phone display to see if you have missed something.
