Bhushan, 01 Oct 2013Should I wait for 64-bit CPU based phone from Samsung or bu... moreOut of those choices I would say Note 3. It's the most you can get atm. But that does not mean it's your preference. The Z1 is pretty awesome too. And if you are so die hard you could wait I guess, but you would be waiting for around half a year to a year. Or you could get something now and then trade in if you feel it's worth it.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2013Apple don't need AMOLED display ! Apple use Retina display ... moreFirst of all dear troll. Retina is not display type. It's a pixel density. Amoled is a type of display and can be retina and is retina in the last few models. Almost all phones since 720p screens and all since 1080p screens are retina.
Dear apple was not even the first to use Retina. Sony was. All the way back in 08 or 09 with the Xperia X1.

Second of all to say Amoled is unnatural for saturated colors you would have to say LCD is unnatural due to lack of blacks and contrast. While Amoled is the only screen capable of true blacks and best contrast.
The difference is Amoled's colors can be tuned and since the Note2/S4 movie mode has given near perfect color accuracy while still retaining contrast and black. Making it overall the most realistic screen. While previous models still had good color accuracy while still as well retaining their true blacks and contrast. Just not as near perfect. Overall good enough for most though.
So Amoled can do saturated and natural both better...It also is getting more proper white balances. Also always getting closer to 100% accurate colors. All the while having a plethora of flexibility and advantages over LCD. Like being thinner, overall less power consuming, less reflective, completely even lighting, faster response times, and the bigger the displays get the more and more you notice the advantages of Amoled.

Not to mention generally most people like it being saturated anyway. It's usually fanboys, online trolls, and haters that complain about it. In fact nobody in person has ever complained to me about about the colors or that it's "fake". They like it. And for those that care so bad or rare few that need it there is a setting to fix it that in fact makes it overall more natural than LCD. So there is no real complaint. Just hating trolls.
Especially when you consider if you go back a couple years for LCD. LG's 600nit Nova display was considered outstandingly bright then and most LCD's generally were actually under accurate.

            So....You really have no clue.

Unless Google has release a 64 bit is. There's no way that the jellybean would be the base cause it's now becoming an old OS because of having the same UI without any changes to the coding so that it won't lag even if you had only 10% memory space or lags when your using a web browser on a heavy intense image sites.

From a well respected iOS developer:

"This isn't how background tasks work in iOS. When the app goes to suspend, unless it is doing an authorized background process there is a very very very short window where it is resident before its save state is written and it is unloaded. That has nothing to do with available memory and everything to do with apple's "backgrounding" process. Even if you JUST TURNED the phone on, ran the app, closed it and loaded another app that used almost no memory, after a relatively short time when you go to open the first app it will load from save state. On top of that it all depends on how the author loads the app (i.e. if they actually check for resume or if they just load fresh every time).

I honestly feel, as a developer and a geek, that apple's system is incredibly well engineered and actually does multi-tasking how 95% of users expect to do multi-tasking. The problem with it is that people simply assume it works like their PC does.

You really can't and don't "run out of ram" or "use all 1GB" of your iPhone. Each app loading in to its sandbox and being programmed against ARC usually means that you will either have enough RAM, or your app will break. Not much of an in between there.

As for development as it exists, I'm not saying users wouldn't benefit from 2GB (now or eventually) but outside of bleeding edge games/apps I really don't know a whole ton of devs who are slamming head first into 1GB. Most of the cries for 2GB comes from users who don't have any clue of resource management on the phone and just assume that because the app is laggy or their app is resuming save state and has to load that an extra 1GB will fix all of that. And most of the time... It won't."

Apple may have only 1 GB ram but they saw themselves, that on IOS there is no need for more ram, everything is running with no lag or ram deficite. And this one gig of ram is designed to be way faster than 2 or 3 gigs on android.
