EU Commission pushes for barring roaming charges by 2016

New EU Commission proposal takes on the EU roaming charges, says they don't belong in a single market.

It just means they cannot charge you any extra fees for Roaming, but you still have to pay for your communications just like you were in your home country.

In fact, that is the most eloquent way of putting it, regardless of which EU country you are currently passing-through you pay for your communications just like you were in your home country.

Mind you this doesn't mean the international calls suddenly become national! For instance, if you are from the UK and passing-through say Germany, when you call a German number in Germany you will be charged just like calling a German number from the UK -- no added fees (but nor like another UK number).
