Thumbs up for Nokia, even though they've made bad moves (hey, who hasn't!) along the way lately, they're still paving their way in a determined manner, which I think is the main thing

Can't wait for this phone. I accidentally dropped my 720 from 5ft today, and was amazed by its hardware quality. There were no scratches or dent whatsoever.
Good camera optics and imaging technology
Good materials - solid body
Fluid OS
Good battery - one of the best power saving phones
Good audio
I've had all sorts of iPhones, Android, and BB devices, but today, only Nokia makes me excited.

the only reason why windowsphone doesn't lag is the animation when switching windows.
here is an analogy.
windowsphone is like a normal quality video and you are using a player that can play high end video(the cpu,gpu etc)
android is like a 1080p video that you play on a high end player.
don't you get it?? windowsphone doesn't do too much compared to android.
that is the reason why windowsphone is smooth while android is not even with high end specs.
fyi, i am a former lumia 800 owner and it restarts when i surf the net and listen to music, thank you have a nice day :)

The reason this will not change is that Microsoft has a piss poor history of support for their mobile platform. I have first hand experience with this since Microsoft's Mobile 5 platform. They just can't get their OS right and judging from my wife's Lumia 820, it's the same old Microsoft with WP8 as it was with Mobile 5 or 7.
