I don't know why I love HTC so much... but I do. Even though they are lacking much with regards to their pricing, mid-range features, marketting, user options etc... but I feel this is one company who has awesome designs and beautiful UI. Only if HTC promotes itself more with more innovative ways and better price-feature model rolled in market. With so much of loss already under its way.. why not gang up with leading telecom service providers to provide phone on best deal contract.

Am using HTC for the past 5 years,and I would say they are good at innovation& design.but Samsung knows how to handle the market.
Even though HTC devices are little bit smarter than Samsung but they can't sustain against Samsung due to poor almost no marketing.
HTC dont advertise their devices but people know about them.what am trying to say is that HTC is capable of reaching people even though they don't advertise.if they invest some good money for marketing,then for sure they can beat Samsung.and also they should change their CEO.

i get the information that there is problems or some conflicts between the internals of the company.. Hope HTC will not have the same fate with nokia or blackberry..

Hm, strange discussion :-) I owned HTC One and upgraded to SGS4 and you know what, that was mistake :-) One is more user friendly and less lagy then SGS4. So, now if I get rid of sammy I will take One again

Whatever you think about them on the way down, they still make a lot of money and all these predictions are nothing, take a look at blackberry and Nokia, no matter how low a company get's it's still a step up on a new company, HTC has a fan base and they aren't going to go away or buy with a competitor so long as there are phones available to buy, especially when they're superior to the competition, I mean the One is a ridiculously good phone, had mine since day one and it's flawless, never had one problem with it, my friend got his S4 around the same time and he's had 4 of them now, what does that say for Samsung?
And with people talking about support, I can't comment on overseas, but here in the UK there is a number you call for direct support which I've given to many people, the turn around for a new phone under warranty is around 3 - 5 days, the quickest was 1 day, which in all fairness is phenomenal.
Time will tell whether you're right about HTC or not, personally I think you're dead wrong.

Whatever phone you have in your hand now, is in no way better than the phone that I have here.

The camera and other things has nothing to do with it.

This is what happens when a big corporate company doesn't listen to its customers.
HTC needs to ditch the 4 MP UltraPixel camera. Put at 13 or more mega pixels in its next flagship.
Provide the customer a micro SD slot and removable battery and a fair price. That's the recipe to get top of the mountain especially if you're an Android OEM.
