sony xperia walk with me always.
i have held sony xperia z1 mini for a year but i don't regret and not even think of buying any other brand .
but i have got a problem with the screen it broke and no service center nor dealer of the brand in my country uganda.
i wish we got one. its funny using sony xperia.

S4 mini with all of its spec downgrades is not comparable with this Z1 mini.. Sony release this device just for peoples who want a smaller size of Z1 without lowering any spec.. Sony doesn't released this device for a people who wants a very cheap phones, although this Z1 mini price will be more cheaper than original Z1..

I think sony is returning to form; I have no issue paying a premium price for the right device. Maybe the younger forum members don't recall a time where all technology was expensive as hell and sony were king of the sexy small device. I admit I was wowed by big bright screens and thin devices like the GS2 (a true paradigm shift phone) but I now accept that if you have a 7 inch tablet (which I do) then these big phones are unnecessary. Specs are important for future proofing and its nice to have the option of running high-end apps on your phone if you want.
I applaud sony if they can deliver on the promise of this device; I think there is a huge potential market out there for this device, not just chicks in skinny jeans who will love this alternative to the ifail5.

Its funny when the z ultra was announced as the thinnest 1080p device n 8mp camera wit 3000mah battery, ppl said that sony shudnt have sacrificed better camera n battery to make the device compact.
Now that there is a small screen device leaked with a monstrous battery(for the screen size) n a hell of a camera, ppl are complaining once again

They always say common sense not that common. Yes the phone has a 4.3 inche screen wit what ppl are saying are big dimensions. The phone is rumoured to hav one of the biggest camera sensors of any phone and also one of the biggest batteries for a phone wit a 4.3 inch screen.

I've nothing against those who want a 5" or 5.2". quality choice and variety, is good. giving us dumbed down minis is not.
Considering that the Z1 has a bad size profile, it's expectable the z1mini wont be much better. still not a true mini, is almost the same size as a moto x.
droid mini is a good example of a mini phone (two years ago this was the regular screen size), with at least acceptable specs. Alas, is only sold in USA.
