Jarret, 10 Oct 2013HTC in trouble? i think HTC One is a good and nice smartphone wo... morehtc is better but too much expensive than lenovo

  • ykoo

i think it would be a win win situation for both companies. lenovo needs a new UI for its smartphones. htc needs to lower its prices. marketing, distribution etc...

Htc one is a great phone but is full of problems. I will never buy htc. Fastest phone for 2013, nice build but very poor quality.

Good news. The price will be reasonable of phones. Htc could not make competitive price .Actually Htc phones are very good quality but price is high , no good marketing, no easy availability to all countries , no service centre. Lenovo can fix those problems .We can find same quality of phones of htc and Lenovo far different prices .Lenovo can do it and balance.China can do it.

dieselmachine, 10 Oct 2013HTC being taken over by a company that isn't full of anti-SD Car... moreThey're not doing it with all their phones because the Butterfly-S which just came out has an SD card slot as did the Butterfly..

"It's no secret HTC has been in trouble this year. There were supply bottlenecks, patent infringements and its flagship sales are definitely not what the Taiwanese manufacturer was hoping for. "

GsmArni, 10 Oct 2013Good riddance! Now Samsung is also locking down their phones,... moreif samy will block the bootloader i will switch with all my phones (S2, S3 and S4) to LG or ASSUS. Those are very good options, and decent prices. Sony could be an option too but they have a lot of blotware...

its all about CA$H...
$am$ung has got it... it survives...

Nokia has now the FULL support of Microsoft
HTC can also be the same if they takeup the offer from Microsoft [Dual Booting WP with Android] not a full commitment to WP.

WIn-WIn situation...

even if Lenovo buys HTC...
Lenovo also can takeup the same deal from Microsoft

[deleted post]Chinese products are good. At least it will not sue others easily.

Hmmm. How convenient is this? All of a sudden HTC got knock down from being the top dog onto a "bail me out" in less time then Nokia? Peter Chou sucks!

Its better to let Lenovo take over HTC than that blood sucking MS take over it.
