Maybe in India, i know buyers there have a few very different criteria from the world average buyer, like 3G Video Call, front camera and the hilariousone is SAR, unbelievable. But really, even in India the missing front cameras probably accounted for only a small fraction of lost sales. We know of one, and thats you, not many others.

Not everybody needs all that much apps, BB was ever behind others in apps... but if you really want one, you can always get it from Android or OTA or other way;) It's a circle: poor management - no customers - lack of big name native apps. All that is very similar to what happened to Nokia. Well, Cisco pretty obviously wants QNX, hopefully they'd be a good steward.
It would be an interesting exercise to see how much Blackberry's patent portfolio would be worth (given the makeup of the goog-moto acquisition)

BB in my opinion lost as it was too long in adding a secondary camera to the phone everybody had tried face time or skype
I simply did not even consdider a BB for that reason
Windows is not as polished as you may think and from the tinker i have had on the BB Z10 I like it
It does need to survive as iphone are too expensive, W8 needs better Apps, Andriod is good, but it does not feel fresh anymore
I do really like the Z10 it looks like I was too late

Lol, there is a lot difference here: BlackBerry considers or Bloomberg presumes. Something is definitely happening there, never know until official, the rest is divination

Blackberry started out as workhorses for business folk not multimedia devices..They were doing very well even going pay as you go and the teenage market then tookover as its main business.Then full multimedia/business all singing smartphones were the new thing and BB were way behind with cams and codecs.They tried like mad to catch up but folk chose these boring monotonous miserable monoblock slabs as their choice and BB COULD NOT KEEP UP
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED bb EXCEPT FOR POOR APP STORE AND VERY EXPENSIVE APPS.

rebel, 10 Oct 2013Pity,Bb10 is much much better and modern then wp and iosreally please tell me how it is more modern than ios7 and windows phone 8 and why windows phone is an os that has grown in leaps and bounds in the last few years and ios7 is a refreshing pace to the old ios design with fantasitc features and why as a phone sales person if blackberry 10 was such an amazing OS why is it that since its release as a store we have sold...one and why not a single customer has any interest in blackberry any more they are so far behind the curve and thier failings as a company are why no one has any confidence in them as a company anymore.

BB10 is unique and has a lot of potential as real time cascades OS, but defenitely - BB is not for everyone...
