More apps on Google play are free unlike Apple App store. it makes sense.

Anyway, something that Nokia and Apple fans can never understand is that its not about display size but about phone size. Putting a 4 inch display in a Galaxy Mega 6.3 doesnt make it perfect for the human hand.

And because the 5c is (to all tense and purposes) an iPhone 5, they must have had a lot of old stock left of the fascia and internal components of the old 5, and factories were already tooled to assemble what is basically the front and internals of a 5. Mould a plastic (polycarbonate ???) back case cover for it and you have the (new ???) iPhone 5c, and a dumping ground for old (refreshed) stock, $$$ Cha ching $$$.

iphone 5c is not cheap enough to be considered over the iphone 5s. iphone 5c price should be dropped if apple wants to achieve good sales numbers. if iphone 5 would have still been sold then it would have been sold for the same price as that of the 5c with better design and quality (same as that of the 5s). By using plastic apple has reduced the manufacturing cost of the 5c and thus increased their margin of profit. 5c should be priced at 450$ unlocked and they should phase out the iphone 4s (3.5 inches is just too small). But apple did all of this to achieve high sales of iphone 5c keeping in mind next year when they will launch the iphone 6.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2013Still, I don't understand why Apple released 5c.It's sill the same. It's an iPhone 5s and and iPhone 5 but plastic. You can get one for $99 or $199 as usual.
For us outside the USA, we will keep buying the expensive iPhone and Samsung. That's how it goes in thailand at least.
Most Thais have opted for the iPhone 4, now the iPhone that is the cheapest option.
