Surya, 16 Oct 2013I wud still prefer to go wid xperia z1 which I plan to buy ... moreXperia Z??

That's a rip off phone. Compare it to the Nexus 4 - Same processor, RAM, GPU... so, old hardware. Yes, different resolution and camera, but over twice the price! You're wasting money.

And for the price, you should rather get a better phone like the Galaxy s4 or even the One. You'll not only get a better camera (GS4), processor and RAM, but all for a similar price.

And Sony brand... they have no 'prestige' in the mobile industry. Their old Sony-Ericsson phones were always behind the pack.

What the hell are you guys yapping about, the Nexus 5 will still be the best bang for your hard earned buck, were talking about high end specs here and don't forget that you will get all future updates FIRST!!!!! while other manufacturers will take months or even a year or if EVER!!!! I don't hear apple fans, samsung fans, htc fans complaining about the cost of their devices so why the hell should we.

They are wrong to sell at this price. As you can find LG G2 for just a little more.

The Xiaomi Mi-3 ( Tegra 4 or Snapdragon 800 chipset) a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, and Android 4.2.1. It comes in two storage sizes, the 16GB model sells for CNY1999 ($327), while the 64GB version costs just CNY2499 ($410). unfortunately not available in our region.

Hope those prices are way out.
449$ would mean that in the EU it will cost 449 euro, which would be kinda high.
The 399, 16GB version, is not an option. A "smart" phone with no memory, won't be that "smart"...

AnonD-196684, 16 Oct 2013That's $399. You can double the price in Australia. We/They... moreSad you boy...though I still would like those prices in Poland. Right now HTC One 64GB - 974$, Iphone 5s 16GB - 1022$, Note 3 - surprising only 895$, though that's not official retailers price...

LOL Google... Who the hell will want the Nexus 5 (instead of Nexus-hipsters) when by the time it comes out, you can get the LG G2 for the same price with bigger screen, bigger battery & better camera. Put a CM10.2 on there and there's no need for Nexus.. at all.

That's $399. You can double the price in Australia. We/They call it the Australia tax. For example the cheapest Samsung Note 3 = $888
                        Crappy Iphone 5S 16gb = $779
                        HTC One 64GB = $780
Don't let me talk about service repairs.
Anyway, this one sounds great can't wait. At least it will have the latest android.

eventually 399 slightly higher than last year nex4 299.

but definitely will buy this rather than the galaxy crap s4 $649 phone.

                          Conclusion:-
Nexus 5($399)= still "BEST BANG FOR BUCK"

32gb for 449 is not all that a good or fantastic deal or a budget phone .Plus tax you`re talking almost 500usd.for the current specs thats barely okay since its hardware is somewhat limited and inferior to lets say LG G2 or other Chinese hi end phones that offer the same if not more.Oppo is another good choice. All new phones by January will be at least 2,3ghz and 3gb ram

                                  Google only got 8bit/16bit games.

Most android users just hack and play nintendo gameboy games.

Put it simply, android have no quality games or apps.

Maybe candy crush will make this phone break a sweat.. haha. To see the candy LAG with s800 is an innovation!

This phone need neither s800 nor 64gb.. because it does not have the app to back it up.
