Ha! Leaks... I see what your doing Google, you are creating hype for your device by letting small pieces of information out day after day... An media fell right for it, just more apple coping

When I purchased my Nexus 7, I was worried about the relatively small battery in it, but after using it for a month, I can Android 4.3 is much more efficient than 4.2. So my hesitation or the smaller battery in the Nexus 5, isn't as great as it would be, if I didn't get to use my Nexus 7.

I can't wait for the Nexus 5 to replace my Samsung G S3, while I like my G S3 I'm sick of the bloatware and I never use the Samsung apps, and Samsung's lack of upgrades.

My only gripe with the Nexus is the lack of a SD card slot but I think 32GBs is plenty for me, 16 is definitely not enough with all my MP3s and Magazines.

The only thing that is against this phone imo is it's battery. Else it's a total package for a price that is almost half of the other flagships.
Battery life will prevent a lot of people from buying it.

My other complaint is lack of surprise..In past we knew about a phone but we had no info on it till release,,now we know everything about the phone except performance and battery life..

Just release the Nexus 5 for folk to buy and although i willnot buy one its not fair that everyday its reported just release the bloody thing.

It's interesting that when you now go into the Play Store they show the 2 Nexus 4s as 'Coming Soon' with the reduced prices. Perhaps this means as previously theorised the older model will also be back at the still bargain price maybe also with the newer Android KitKat !!!

google are the masters of the accidental leak. Take the nexus 5 phone in press release of kitkat. who else would do that. its publicity at its best.

quite clever marketing. wet your appetite then make people wait in anticipation.

ouh, 18 Oct 2013299 is for the 8gb nexus before right? This is 16gb and a b... moreYes, but this time the 8 GB won't be available, storage cost like nothing now, so they could have released the ridiculous 16GB for 299 and the borderline-decent 32GB for 349 to maintain the same prices for the lower and upper models.
In a world where 64GB usb dongle cost like 15 euro, having those limited storage options in "THE android phone" is annoying. Having to pay a lot more for the 32GB version will be even worse.
