wp8 cost about $10 every device to make.
android cost ZERO
also now wp is par with android in appzzz and gamezzzz
all importan apps are their. even instagram coming in week.
also apps in wp look better and more beautifull are are made for touch inputs.
even games perform better on wp than on android.
also as piracy is impossible in wp8. developer will be more attracted to come here

Fair price for device which is offering that much. After all, its a phablet and it's directly competing Note III, Z Ultra, One Max.

Hardware-vise Lumia 1520 is quite better than Samsung's note 3, bigger display, way better camera, wireless charging, better battery with twice the stand-by time, 4 microphones. Idk why people expect it to be cheaper...

thing is no company can sell this at lower price. if they do they will just loose a lot of money.
nokia lumia 1520 offer more than what other do in the price. this is what it count.
also for other market lumia 1520 is already cheaper than note 3.
europe is exceptin just because of the recent hike in €to $ conversion

it has bigger and better screen
bigger batter,
bigger camera and sensor with ois
and a licensed wp8 wich cost $10
if they price it lower its just a loss for them. they are already in a loss.

I don't know what nokia thinking about.... it should be less than note3. I know nokia build quality is great but it is running on windows. their main concern should be attract more customers and earn some money through apps.... If nokia price this high people with go for Android devices.

Personally I'd love to see an 11.5cm - 12cm screen, 720p res and a snapdragon 800 processor from Lumia running WP8

to expensive. First of al lthey should have had a 5 inch phone with same config . That would have worked wonders .
