I've had a Sony Xperia TX for some months now and I am mighty pleased with this beautiful and very capable phone but now would love to see Sony give us the latest in Jelly Beans, 4.3 or the like. I gave up on HTC a long while ago because of their slowness in bringing up updates, so I hope this won't be the case with Sony.

there's a lot of functionality brought by ice, yes I affirm that. But there are draw backs, "APPS2Sd". That should be a sound strong to every android user.

These updates do add functionality, and the aesthetics is also an important part.... ICS and JB brought a smoother interface and for Sony it also added Toggles in notification bar, Small Apps and many other small features that are actually very useful, I use them every single day...
Also A LOT of apps coming out are only compatible with ICS and up... so going back to GB would prevent you to use many apps in the Play Store

Sony will update xperia T and V (from last year) atleast to 4.3 and as we all know by know, the entire 2013 lineup is going to get 4.3 so just be happy..
My confusion is no 4.3 on SP since they managed to put all the features of 4.2 in 4.1 via update, even benchmarks and performance improved...
All stop crying for 4.4 everyone, since 4.4 will not see any non-nexus device before feburary or march!

Samsung, LG, HTC, whichever brand. Updates are gimmick. Tell me the difference between gingerbread and jelly bean? It's just the interface, but functionality is almost the same.

I've learned my lesson with the Arc S, it seems you will learn yours with the Xperia T.
