For a company this big, do you think they couldn't make a 5" inch screen? they made the ipads so you think about why they kept a small screen. there are reasons as to why a billion dollar company chose not to do something. but of cuz u dont see it. all you see is the screen size is small so it must be bad. life is more than a screen my dear. it seems your just living your life in there.

A.M.H, 01 Nov 2013Shipping , optimizing the software, packaging and marketing... morewell to a point that is correct, but them other figures are small in consideration, the marketing of nexus devices is MINIMAL, shipping costs again are small, the only thing that really has any value is the software, but again seeing as that is to be shipped on to MANY new android devices it is balanced out making the software very cheap to apply, there are some 40 million galaxies, 5 million notes, 10 million HTC ones, millions of LG and sony flagships that will get the software update, so the cost of software will be divided up between a massive number of devices meaning that again this cost is minute, even still the profit made on these devices will be in the 10s of millions just for 1 device so the person who said there is NO profit from nexus devices is wrong, it just is not as big as say apple or samsung when they offer a flagship :-)

[deleted post]I used the Nexus 4 before going back to Iphone. It was not a bad device. For some reason mine was slow... i think its because of the lack of LTE. It took a long time searching for GPS too. the worst thing was the battery. I hope the Nexus 5 can do better though. I helped my friend buy one yesterday... If the battery is good, this will be a good device. however, i am sticking to my iphone 5s for now. :)

Wow lots people taking the leap of faith without any proper reviews out there. I personally want to hear how the battery and camera perform. Im still using the Galaxy Nexus and as many of you know the battery is beyond abysmal and the camera is underwhelming. Im also not thrilled LG made the phone since they've demonstrated they can't get AF to work properly when shooting video. The Z1 (what I really want) is sooooo much more expensive though :(

Nexus 5 is a great phone and if you take price point into consideration i believe it's better then the iPhone 5c or 5s for that matter.
Just coz you dont have something doesnt mean you bash it.

Of course iPhone5C is made from the cheapest plastic. Bending for the plastic is plus.
Production price of iphones is always cheaper than high-end Samsung devices. Even the tin-can iPhones. Check it out.

You can't even bent it slightly. Take out your Samsung Galaxy S3/S4 and see if it's the same cheap plastics. I suggest you test it because you call anything cheap cause there are plenty of cheaper plastics on premium phones.
