I really get why Samsung is trying to do this: it simply wants an integrated hardware/software product just like Apple has...and to a lesser extend Microsoft. But this is a tough time to do it, even with as powerful a company as Samsung. Apple is Apple with a very loyal core following, Android is everywhere...and now Windows Phone is showing signs of real life. Won't be easy to make it happen.

Instead of putting non-sense comments why dont you all wait and see when its commercially released?
After all the sales decides who is the winner...
Currently Android leads with 81% market share in 2013 followed by Apple and WP..

samsung's best designed phone, i think samsung should adopt these kind of developer phone design.
it is more appealing than the ordinary plasticky and glossy samsung design

Samsung is making its own OS because of the fear that google might punish the korean giant from dominating the android space. It is a good move for samsung but apps may be the problem, let's see what tizen can offer us once it is released. And btw this UI looks like touchwiz of samsung because ironically made by samsung not android. :P

Tizen on this device looks too similar to Android!!

I'm not sure of the point of introducing another OS.
There is already iOS, android and WP.... It is just another platform that developers have to write apps for.
