John, 04 Nov 2013... available for Windows Phone in 2015 :)Ugh, I sure hope not. I've been with Android for a good number of years but seeing things like the Nokia Lumia 1520 and the upcoming Lumia 929 gives me hope. Windows Phone is already quite nice but it could definitely be more polished with more features (I'm not talking gimmicky Samsung ones but useful ones that should already be there).

I'm assuming Qualcomm will announce this soon which means mobile phone manufacturers will probably announce newer phones with this updated hardware. In that near future I hope that Nokia is able to come up with something amazing that isn't behing the pack.

                  Hey qualcomm...pls...dont dreaming ....
your adreno330 much much slower than geforce 8600 gt(256mbddr3), release 7 years ago from nvidia.
Anandtech already came the 3d mark report last year.

This gpu ad400 will never ever render game like " crysis 1" picture quality.
So nothing amazed about this outdated slow ass gpu technology.

It does save power...From if it was running on the A-15's a lot anyway. Which is probably the catch. And it does pretty much match in performance. The 1.9ghz is on par with the 2.3ghz
Not including 4k or LTE at this point still kinda sucks though
Hopefully next generation figured it out as there is noticeable improvement each step.

AnonD-130551, 05 Nov 2013Right, but they don't need more cores to upgrade CPU speed.... moreIt's actually a 1.7Ghz and that's comparing two different OS's not just CPU's.
You are comparing different SoC with different architecture and GPU as well as comparing a light, restricted, app launcher made for one set of devices to an adaptable customizable full multitasking system made to work on millions of devices....To which it still gains only milo seconds in speed.

AnonD-130551, 05 Nov 2013Right, but they don't need more cores to upgrade CPU speed.... moreMost of the benchmarks, including Octane and Kraken (not to mention Sunspider), don't even utilize 1 core fully, let alone four of them. I think the benchmarks are very misleading.

Don't you all see that they are giving to the market bit's of the tehnology they have so they can sell more each year ??
The most inteligent is the one who waits to buy last... so hold on to your old phone until it doesn't work !

Anyway, Qualcomm seems to have about the best all-around designs these days, at least on the Android side, so I'm confident their new chips will blow us away.

Honestly if they can do that with a pentacore i have no issues but that will be extremely difficult but ya they can do it but that will be expecting too much!

AND FOR YOUR SECOND PARA, i totally agree with you!
In India they launched the octacore saying its more power efficient more powerful but it is a total failure, and it note3, we pay more than what developed us and europeans pay and we don't get 4k recording and stuff, first I used to love samsung but now I will hate them till i die....
And apple needs to improve strategy and work properly!

Does this mean this year's phone will be antiquated next year? why can't this mobile companies make one beautiful piece of phone that is loaded with advanced and many features. To change a phone every year it kills our economy. E,G Nokia has 41mp but most phones have 8mp others 13mp. Snapdragon 600 is not antiquated because there's 800 out there. I hate phones because you'll be forced to buy a phone every year. That's why I love iphone. God bless Apple Iphone.

Adreno con 64bit. Aha. But if I'm honest, my LG G Pro has ALL the screen real estate. Brightness. Speed. And expandability I currently need. Awesome machinery. Luvin' it. I compared it ( price range, right?) to the S4, ONE, miserly Apple anything and they all seem like self-serving toys. This is one Awesome Phablet. Saved me buying a tablet too. Polaris is a serious Office Suite. Built in! With HP's print utility ( from the play store, free ) I'm good to go! Oh, Hulu keeps me up on TV. And on this display, my TV days are over. Like I said, I'm Luvin' it.
