Oh dear! Poor marketing strategy, gimmicky camera, albeit Zoe is quite cool, late release and only releasing certain phones in limited markets....the Head of Marketing should be sacked! Any idiot with half a brain could do a better job! It would be a shame if this iconic brand disappeared without a trace, HTC deserves to be near the top of the food chain!

Maybe if they would make a phone with a button on the front not on the top where no one can reach (what idiots) they will have more sales (samsung and apple have them). From my point, I say let them burn. Same goes for nokia who chose only Windows platform.

I have had a few HTC phones and i must say that i'll never buy one again, i mostly had issues with the power and volume up\down buttons, after a while they just quit working. I had an I9000 galaxy which recently i gave to my girlfriend ,but in the timespan in which i used it i had absolutely no problems with it. And when i say i used i mean i USED it,i dropped it several times cracking the chrome bezel and the battery cover ,it is scrached all around the screen being an exception,i've flashed Cyanogenmod 10 on it and it still works great. Never an HTC phone served me as well as this one with the punishment it has been through in 3 years , i still love it!

tnx sir, but i'd take plastic that doesnt dent and scratch easily with mSD removable battery, bigger display and smaller bezels anyday even over some titanium clad POS.

In India other companies offer same spes. at about 25% lesser price than you with better after sale service. You need to work on that seriously

Shame on them. When will they ever learn? When all is too late and they are already in the bottom of the pits and has suffered severe losses.

The problem is that HTC never listens to the customers.
Many people here or engadget or pocketnow have posted feedback about the important things they want. HTC just ignores all. Here are the few important/critical thing contribute the HTC failure on its HTC One.
* No removable battery. No microSD slot.
* Wide bezel, which made HTC one overall size is bigger than S4.
* 4MP camera is a wrong bet. At least it should keep 8MP with OIS.
On the other hand it added things which made the phone unnecessary cost high, such as aluminum case, big speakers, which made phone size bigger too.
Its HTC One Max is a joke when it's compared to the Note 3. It is much heavier and bigger, but less powerful. I don't understand why HTC make it which has no market demand at all for such a heavy/big phone.

Body to absorb impact at max resistance to protect passenger compartment. Same goes to the phone. Hard metal case means ur screen & m/b get damage at maximum impact. ,!!!
Pls replace ur car with steel bumpers,, yes?..?..?

Do this things you will get back on this game.
1.aggressive marketing
2.improve after sale service
3.dont delay the shipping of your products
4.make sure you have enough resource to meet the needs
5.make water proof and stick with to aluminium build and improve camera performance
6.dont try to compete with other oems ideas very swiftly
