No, don't get me wrong... moreDespite the drop in official support, the 2011 Xperias got mostly lucky with 3rd party support (first from FXP, now from LXP). Kudos to the guys who did it, they deserve the highest of praises.
Still, do not make the mistake of assuming other models (even more recent ones) were so lucky.
A select few are supported, others are out in the could with worst support than your 2011 Xperia.

There are people who want to buy this phone now, these people follow the progress of the phone avidly. When something new happens they talk about it. -- When they talk about it their are unknowingly advertising the product to other people who were oblivious to it.
Everyone does this in one way or another, not just Sony.

Fail to understand, why Sony is playining this Cat & Mouse game with respect to Xperia Z1s, instead of simple business of launching it on firm date ? Sony will certainly loose clients this way !

Looking forward to skip this phone.
No, don't get me wrong, this is amazing and I would buy it but I am still so happy with my 2011 Sony I will skip this one.
Hope they keep like this so that when I finally upgrade mine, anywhere in the next 2 years they will have a nice and small smartphone as this one.
