pocketnow suggests doing a factory reset prior to or after installing the new OS version to take full advantage of the TRIM support.

Unfortunately I can confirm that this update is very lagy especially on wake up, take at list 3-4 sec. for you screen to come on after you press power button.
I'm thinking of downgrading to 4.1.2

not enough ram on the s3 to run this software well about 10 seconds now to open the screen.

Once you update you can't downgrade, so I'd wait.
Works fine on S4 though.

I installed it yesterday, but its laggy as hell, has powered turned itself off a few times and its killing the battery. :-(
Hopefully they issue an update-update asap!!!

Don't update it. The ROM is not stable and presents lots of problems. To list a few: wifi does not work properly; download manager seems to get stuck on a cycle; the phone becomes extremely slow on wake-up; general crush issues. I regret that I hurried and installed this ROM.
