The phone in the pic shown is clearly Xperia Z, and it's pretty evident from the camera placement, app drawer icon, last gen Xperia themed wallpaper. Jeez, how ignorant people can be!

It will sink soon li... moreThe Xperia Z is actually why I noticed them at all, Before that Sony was nonexistant to me and pretty much everyone I know. They are actually a rising manufacturer from my perspective. I would have never thought about buying a Sony Phone until the Z and V. Now the Z1s is pretty much everything I want from a phone.

That pic doesn't look like the Z1S. The new Z1 and Z ultra (last two models released) had a blue blend on the screen if im right.
This has the old orange-red blend. Any clues anyone?

Yea I would agree to all those haters of Sony. Sony mobiles are not up to the mark of say...Samsung, HTC, Iphone, LG etc. Sony otherwise is a world class company. Wonder y they falter when it comes to cellphones. Xperia Z Ultra was launched with too much of fuss, showing it in commercial as the next shiny thing in the market but when it came out it was suck (sucky screen and too large size like a brick in the pocket lol...). No offense to Sony lovers. Cheers.

Best phone since several years now from all manufacturers out there, GG Sony.
I wonder tho, Samsung now burns inside, slashing managers and engineers why they didn't came up with this first - top specs in smaller body of high quality.I bet they are gonna announce next month some replica just to show they have one too, but late :>

people should calm down. sony is slow. and there is this other issue. will it be a global relaease? if there are no release dates for the Z1S (Z1mini) by the end of this month i'll go with the nexus 5.
anyway, as i believe the Z1F won't come befor january 2014 why should the Z1S do so? it's clearly a 2014 phone - if it exsists. the last 2 years told us that no markting efforts by sony usualy means no product or only for test markets like japan.
