This would be a great deal IF and only IF they can produce parts that can easily match or even better, outperform the highest-end parts while keeping the price at a very reasonable value.

well i think it is a great deal!!! , of course it will be annoying to replace some parts but on the other hand you can stop buying all the time a new device just replace processor or ram or camera and here you go again on top of the list!!!

too late. try modules with foldable screen - now is the bigger the better. once u go out with it u must supply units for it. what can beat foldable 8"screen ?

*changeable PROCESSOR (... moreBecause you can't find a phone that has those things already, it has to be upgradeable Lego? You really HAVE to buy it with dual-core and small RAM and insufficient camera and upgrade all those things later? Simply makes no sense.
For me I think the while phone is ready for replacement the day the cpu or ram or cam is no longer fulfilling my needs.

Modular concept fits perfectly well with Tile UI in Windows...
in that case other OS have to redesign their OS to fit Modular standards...
Windows will work Just Fine IMO...
Future is going to be awesome...
