Yes they do have absolute zero black level so they are more power efficient when displaying black, however do you read text with black background everytime?

I have the regular Galaxy S4 Active, really quite a good device because it has removable battery, micro SD slot + 11gb available onboard storage, physical buttons that don't take up screen space and an LCD display with more accurate colors than AMOLED. The waterproofing is just a little bonus to me, the uncommon combination of removable battery, micro SD slot and LCD display were what I was looking for.
The Snapdragon 600 is already fast enough, though I'm sure the 800 series is faster and more efficient, and the 8MP camera takes pretty decent pics and video (I use Camera Zoom FX app instead of the stock camera app).
With the addition of Nova Launcher Prime and turning the animation scales down to 0.5x, and dumping almost all of the Samsung crap apps for better alternatives like Cyanogen Calculator, Kitkat Clock, Color Note...my device is pretty much set up the way I want it.

Wow finally snapdragon 800 in s4 active ! Hope they roll it out internationally. However I doubt I'll be able to get it here in Indonesia though. Foolish Samsung Indonesia didn't even launch the original s4 active.

Although it will be too big for me, I think I´ll get it. 4.5 inch screen would be better. Will it have Ant+ support?
But it has now 13MP camera, removable battery, is faster, and I hope with gorilla glass 3 now? An Outdoor phone needs that, ...
and Sony can throw its Z1S in Q2 or Q3/2014 away when the battery is empty. Because Q1 they won´t succeed, I think. Save the environment and never buy phones with non-removable battery!

The bad thing is, people will not recognize if ur using an sd 800 or 600.. Same look same old design.. Its like ur not having a new phone..

The Note 1 cost in the range of the II & III when it came out.
