Oppo confirms the Find 7 will have a 2K screen

17 December, 2013
2K probably refers to QHD (2,560 x 1,440) rather than digital cinema 2K (2,048 x 1,080).

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2013I dont see the benefit of higher resolution because i dont ... moreI do have the money to afford it but for the same money I would prefer sth like iPhone in android form. Just enough resolution to look non-pixelated, good enough hardware to run it smoothly w/t being taxing to the battery and huuuuge battery to go days w/t charge and/or two days of very heavy use.

In phones portability is everything, give me those and it'll crash the experience that those super phones give you, muuuch better product, oh and I'd actually pay more for such a phone if it existed. I mean moto x was almost there but it killed it with the low battery....

I'll probably wait for a modular phone to choose a 720p HD screen

I honestly don't see the point, what benefit does having a 2k screen have on a smartphone upto 6 inches, none whatsoever.

1080p is more than optimal for small screens, as the hardware improves then running 1080p will become less taxing, which in turn means better battery life & less heat & much better performance.

...don't really want a massive phone with a massive display and a massive hardware and a massive price. just want a phone like Moto X, with a minimum specs' to run android smoothly and worldwide availability.
