There are always many possible webs of activities and decisions based upon any number of motives.

Most conspiracy theories are bs and mostly unimportant to me, like the Kennedy assissination or whether Hillary had killed a staffer found under a tree (she didnt, by far most likely). Or whether Samsung thought the Knox app could help corporate customers though it was an NSA developed app. Thats all wasted conversation at this point except to understand history or the like., and maybe for example to assess as a culture whether we need to change general direction of paradigms. But if we're not going to do anything about it all, its just gossip.

It's interesting talk but I dont really care who created the Knox app or the decision process Samsung went through to put it on the phones. I do want to know whats going on with my phone and who or what has initiated Knox running unmolested on my phone ...but only if that helps me avoid problems moving forward. It might. Especially if there is data going around that can hurt me.

The world has a lot of stuff going on. " Why would " , though if constructive a healthy question, and a valid one if in consideration of possibilitiies where anyone breaches others sovereignty, is often used as a manipulative question that discounts all possibilities that dont fit ones view of the world, because each single one is likely a remote possibility. If your not willing to explore that, thats okay for you. But just because no one on here goes to the time and trouble to outline dozens of possibilities doesnt support your conclusion that there couldnt have been agreement to install apps created by government departments, it doesnt support your argument. Of course that kind of thing happens - everyone knows it. It seems questionable NSA software was delivered on Galaxy S6s but likely no one here has any idea.

I know its not good for me that there is partitioned activity going on in my phone that I cant access or stop, its creating data, and according to Samsung it has to be the result of someone proactively starting up an app that they delivered with the phone, it cant be stopped or uninstalled, its not necessary for anything I use the phone for, and the Samsung techies wont tell me anything more.
I know I have had personal data breached in the last year but that could be from a myriad of possibilities.

    And that's one of the many reasons why I don't use any mobile phone without root access. My Samsung S4 i9506 doesn't have any KNOX or any other bloatware...

            Are you making the same posts on Apple, HTC, LG, Sony, Nokia pages? Do you even know any relevant issues against them in any similar quantity?

Those articles are from legit verified news corporates like BBC,Arstechnica etc But it seems anything useful to your brain is praising your brand devices so dopamine levels on your brain increase and you feel better about yourself and your choice of buy by insulting the other users for their choices. And here we were talking about the legitimacy of Samsung as a brand not about others.When we talk about others i will show you what i know about them and their faults be it Apple,Samsung,Lg,Sony etc. Just ask me at the right time and place. But even so i cant tell Samsung is pure c*** because that would be idiotic. I just dont like their marketingstratefy and their business practies and also im not a big fan of touchwiz and those other features that dont really work that they just included for people to say wow. ( air gesture, smartscroll,smartpause,motion gestures etc.) Butits great that we have a manufacturer that offers expandability in battery,memory card. And for the record i think AMOLED is the future of displays it just isnt ready yet to be implemented in such a great volume in mobile technology only because of its short lifespan and burn in issues ( blue subpixel burnin predisposition) . I know that Samsung is innovating and investing a ton on AMOLED and i expect in the next six years for amoled technology to be farmore durable and in 10 years to be obselete.With AMOLED companies can achieve to produce very light devices with super thin displays. I need SAMSUNG to innovate more on mobile technology and less in bad business/advertising practices.They have the capacity they just chose the short way.
