HTC is a good phone as i use three phones same time i found expensive,no SD slot, Spare parts replacing is costly, acessaries cannot found in the local markets, smart people only can operate and line the HTC handsets.

HTC was making good devices but made some anti consumer decisions
      1.Low MP poor camera
      2.No micro SD card slot
3.Low battery capacity and non user removable.

why one would buy it given Samsung has all?

HTC thinks that their customers are silly and requires customers to use low processor on premium device. Their phone too is too big or too small!

LG made excellent phone including design and processor but no card slot. Also, most countries will have to wait for an outdated phone release with premium price. How many percent of people are going to buy outdated phone at premium price?

Well, reason for low LG G2 sale is known by everyone. LG is very lathazy in rolling out updates and thats wat affecting their sales the most. But HTC is doing bullshit...utter bullshit. Their handset price are sooooo high that ppl are not thinking of buying them. Yes, they have some cool devices but they not reasonably priced. They are trying to follow Apple in terms of pricing their phone. Somebody pls tell them, IOS is only sold by Apple, while Androids r sold by many. So what u hav, others too have dat in the market. Insane pricing is surely the reason for HTC. HTC One- INR 38,000
          HTC One Mini- INR 35,000
          S4- INR 38,000
          S4 mini- 22,000
          Xperia Z- 32,000

ps4 is sold at a loss.
z1 didnt sold that well it has lower profit than z and also they over spend on marketting.

i can see sony music doing well

The #1 reason that LG will lose market share:
                SOFTWARE UPDATES!!!
Look at the ICS update schedule, they promised that they will roll out ICS in Q2 and Q3 2012 but they failed to roll out to 90% of handsets on time. Some had to wait one or even two years to get ICS while most other phones are on Jelly Bean!

No wonder HTC and LG G2 One little selling, no external memory slot and nor swappable battery by user.
The Huawei Ascend P6 if have external memory slot, and being so small, we accept that the battery can not be changed, so it sells better.
HTC One and LG G2 are great teams, but its limitations of not having external memory slot and nor swappable battery by user, are not taken seriusly.
Samsung always includes external memory slot and replaceable battery and is the master in sales.
Sony Xperia Z1 finally realized that it must include external memory slot, the best processor available and added a camera and can also 20Mpx dive, are selling very well and it is almost certain that the Xperia Z1 be the best cell phone 2013.
Nokia also sells well its flagship lack of external memory slot.
When manufacturers understand that consumers want to change the storage card instantly?
When manufacturers understand imitating the limitations of iPhone, are doomed to failure?
If LG had sent the Korean version of G2 with memory expansion slot and replaceable battery, would have sold much much better.
My hard earned money, I'll put in Sony.

LG + HTC: Confusing flagship lines, terrible after-release software support, disdain for SD cards/removable batteries.

When both of this jokers pulling themselves down with the things mentioned they are practically letting Samsung to win by default.

Huawei: Not sure, but I think the Chinese copycats are making better phones than them for their own domestic market.

A lot of H/P producers do not understand their Customers' requirement and demand these days. Majority of consumers want a H/P with built-in memory of at least 16GB, an expandable memory card slot of up to 64GB and removable battery option. These are what Market Leader SAMSUNG is producing with almost every H/P they sell. They deserved to be No. 1 Hand Phone is an item which is part of our daily lives and is one of the greatest inventions of the century. People are carrying this device everyday and everywhere. They keep themselves busy in the toilet, on the Bus, in the park etc, etc ---- Nearly all other H/P producers are sleeping, they make what they like to make and not making what the consumers like to buy. Companies like LG, HTC, Motorola realising Flagship Phones w/o memory slot and non-removable battery and expect these RUBBISH PRODUCTS to sell by itself What a JOKE I think then they have to fire the whole bunch of Marketing People in order you can then the Company around. Mind you I am not a SAMSUNG Fan I talking about FACTS.
