I'm a developer and BLIEVE me - I don't want another OS to support for my multi platforms apps!!!!

I'd rather focus on a few (Android, Windows, iOS) and make my apps better than to try and support yet ANOTHER OS!

Lets see if Samsung can pull this one off, otherwise it'll be another flop, just like Bada. However, unlike Bada, Tizen has some big time players such as Intel working on it, but Samsung is has the steering wheel here.

they are making a big mistake. We don't need another boring os. They should work in order to optimize further android. Another platform brings only confusion, more market fragmentation, more difficulties for app programmers. Work harder to make android faster and more stable and to make more software updates instead!

This is typical of samsung. They never release updates for older devices and they are very slow. Just look at this duke nukem os. Postponed like crazy.

It will be a big mistake for those who eventually decide to buy Tizen device. If it keeps getting delayed, imagine how long updates will take, maybe no updates at all, and then quietly exit the market like with Bada.

Samsung is going to release Tizen when it will be more mature with a vast selection of native apps, that's for sure. However, I'm not interested in this OS since it's a look alike of Android and like the Galaxy phones, it has TouchWiz UI too.
