htc presently makes phones with the best hardware and these phones run on the best mobile operating system (android) that're user friendly while delivering crisp clear results with optimum satisfaction to users, this collaboration with Nokia will help them to improve on certain flaws that cuts short the user's experience and satisfaction that eventually affects their sales and ultimately APAT(Annual Profit After Tax)... However for Nokia it's a win / win situation in summary.

Nice one. Funny that Finnish (now American) and Taiwanese companies can get to compromise and American and Korean company can't.

                            Respect to HTC and NOKIA.

Finally, they made it. Instead of a court trial, they will make a cross agreement. That is a good thing. Apple, watch and learn from other firms, please ^^ .

S3 had to have any design that doesn't look like something they could get sued for. :-) My sister has the S2 and the front looks like a bigger iPhone, the back doesn't, but if I see them on a photo they could be from a same company. At least Lumia phones just look like other Lumias. And mostly good.

MdN8, 07 Feb 2014Patent troll is someone who buys patents to earn money by s... moreActually, what i think at least, is that Apple has gone extreme (or better said, American Style) with it's hypocritical pattens cause of something that wasn't so bad, sort of saying. In fact they we're trying to protect them selves from the master Troll of them all(even though i'm not proud of Crapple fair-play), and that is Samsung! I remember back in 2011 when the s2 was soled as an alternative to icrapp. And everybody was buying it with this in mind: It is a cheaper icrapp with bigger screen. Of course that was cause of the form and even of the allot of UI infringements stolen from crapple, who stole everything from others (a hack lot from Nokia):)). Anyway, no matter what everybody is trying to say about this, one thing is sure. Samdung released the s2 whit one purpose: Let's do a crapp that looks like a Hyped crapp and sell it cheaper. The mentality of pirate brands this days. But Samdung didn't know they will have so much success. So know they present them selves and great mobile manufacturers, even though everybody knows (at least not the fanboys) SAmdung tried hard to take some market share doing some infringements and thinking they will get away clean, just like a pirate brand mentality, just a group of infants. And that is why the s3 came out uglier then a bar of soup. Cause this time, they we're not supposed to steal anything:)).

glad to see there are two firms that can have cooler heads prevail and use their expertise wisely, apple and samsung should take note of this and pay attention
