I heard that gionee is the asias largest high-tech mobile phone manufacturer that is based in china that specialized in r&d and manufacturing their own brand. And that gionee in chinese phrase (jin li) means golden quality. How true is it?

Haters will be haters... Now does anyone notice the thick bezels (Z1 haters, are you listening?). It is a price to be paid for a big battery in a slim phone. A sub-6 mm body is truly a great feat by Gionee!

the great part of this is that it manage to have a 2300mah battery on a slim phone hope other competitors would look forward to battery and slimmnes + up to date specs

They made it thin by sacrificing battery size. Big deal.

Been using a Gionee handset over the last 6 months, very satisfied with the quality and stability of the device. Wouldn't mind spending that much money on their device.
