Hi my all samsung galaxy s4 user, here is only talking about software update for sg s4. But i haven't sg s4 now. I am going to buy sg s4 in india. It is good phone or bad? Please suggest me. Should i buy or not? How is it? I have short of money in my pocket so i am waiting. Also when it's rate drops in india. Please inform me. Waiting for...,

Phone is flickering when I play a video on my stock video player or youTube, Please help me, GSMArena, Please suggest a solution to this.
Is there anyone who's facing the same issue ? if yes please comment, also please comment if you have managed to find a solution to this..
The solution I've found is to go to developer options and turn on "Force GPU rendering" and "Disable hardware overlays". Some people seem to say it works.
I am not satisfied with this solution even if it may work..
My phone is BRAND NEW, I am really disappointed with Samsung !!!
Someone please help me out, I'd appreciate it!!

After update kitkat sucks battery like shit!, wifi always unstable???, hang , lagging...what happen?very disappointed... Faster solve our problem ! Never do RnD before launcing.? Make consumer Angry only.....

Just went through all the comments, it's hard to understand why a improved version of os gives a tough time to high end devises , is it a ones in thousand or a regular problem? At first place kitkat is not available to Indian consumers on many devises and after reading these comments from many of you its difficult to decide whether to update my devise or otherwise even if update is available . I am presently using jellybean .

Horrible after updating to KitKat. Very slow response after unlocking the screen, battery drains like hell. Earlier with avg use, 24Hrs battery backup was possible, now not even 14Hrs. Background applications are very slow in response. I tried un-installing all custom applications however no diff in battery backup. I did not try any games, I know the result how bad it would be. Guys don't upgrade to KitKat, there's no improvement. I upgraded only for Music feature where one can fast fwd the music when phone is locked. It was stupid idea in the end!

Kitkat 4.4.2 just ruined the battery life of my gs4. I have to charge it 2 times a day with less usage and if i use wifi and play any game then three times a day. Overnight drain is about 25 to 30%. I just wasted my money on samsung. Neither i can keep this phone nor i can sale because it will be a huge loss. But next time i will never buy a samsung. There are only two companies worth buying, apple and Htc. Samsung is just........! I am not satisfied.

I recently got my S4 updated with kitkat and started to face trouble with my new software. specially while I try to unlock the screen it takes around 1 minute to unlock. In general much slower than before :(
