Until now I'm wondering why Meego OS was discontinued. Given al those recent innovative/useful functions like double tap, glance screen, pull down menu, multi tasking, etc. have been sprouting lately on all 3 most used OSes, Meego would become a champ and Sailfish would be ver 2.x or 3.x probably.

Good phone ? 3000mAh, camera like in N8 (or better but will be too expensive) good resistant and fast OS, no need many games, millions apps just freedom of choice to user.

If Nokia choose Android + MeeGo they will survive and maybe even conquer market ? They can easily compete with Samsung, LG and HTC in Droid, even 2nd place is not bad, they will take it coz everybody will choose Nokia then LG or HTC. WP ? Only if licence will be for free...M$ give Nokia some money but they must pay them for a license, so is wasnt good deal for Nokia, also because they cant use other OS in this time..yea great contract, use only WP when it sucks (WP7).
RIP Nokia, Jolla dosnt have such power, money for marketing etc.

Those who have used Nokia N9, they know how beautiful the OS was. The same OS has been developed in much better way in Jolla Sailfish. I am sure this will be the future OS of the world. Waiting to get a piece of Jolla in my hand in Saudi Arabia with lot more mobile enthusiasts who like to bye new ones, price does not matter.

I watch with interest Jolla because the finland guys always do quality things, remember Nokia ? The first steps are somehow difficult but if so many people pay 1.000 $ for iphones, there are enough also to buy a complete unknown (except maybe Nokia N9)phone and OS; when they will pick up speed, maybe with a better spec phone, we will be very pleased, untill then wait with confidence...they are working hard !

sailfish is still a very new OS, give them some time they will do it right, I've faith on them. Its buggy now, sure, but which OS isnt buggy at start?
