"the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will be a slimmer body with no protruding lens" please let it be a sensible size! The S4 zoom was too much of a 'fatty' for me to use as a daily device - shame as a good phone and camera. Not sure about the idea of no lense though as i like the manual zoom control of the prior model and please for the love of god don't let it be software driven zooming like the lumias...

As well as in mobiles so far Samsung made better sensors and also made Sony's work better than Sony could.
The only sensor Sony has with an advantage was this one...which was mostly pixels.
So......on that one.
And in camera department Sony in no way even comes close to trashing Samsung.

They have been leaders in mobile cams only truly beaten by Nokia.
For years they brought the first to many mega pixel updates up to the 12Mp. And they were not just pixels. They were good camera. The Pixon 12 was one of the best for a couple years running.
And they brought first HD playback and recording. As well as 4k now too.
And did you see the Note comparison to the Lumia 1520???
Or how well the previous Zoom actually performed? It's only main disadvantage to Lumias was having less than half the pixels.
And there are many big names in true cameras that beat them for sure....But they are not on the bottom and their price point and excellent quality and features on the NX series make them really good....
So troll again?

MdN8, 25 Mar 2014Cool, but you still can't use it as a phone = need to carry... moreTry putting the camera and phone in different pockets, it's just a matter of reorganizing. you can put your phone and wallet with keys inside it in one pocket and the other the phone, unless you have an ultra slim pants/pockets, then you're stuck with a 5x-10x zoomer.

Here is th... moreCool, but you still can't use it as a phone = need to carry two devices. I have a Canon and a Nokia N8. Guess which one stays at home?
Phone is not better in everything, but it's more than good enough and always with me, always charged, ready to shoot in a second.
The only thing I sometimes miss is zoom, but then, some pros with Nikons don't even use zoom lens because it detracts them from having fun, looking for better viewpoints and ultimately taking better photos. To each his own, I guess. ;-)
