pls try the camera if it is good on low light moving objects, other phones have problems with that, they tend to have blurry images when shooting a fast moving object or night time shots. Camera becomes slow and laggy, thanks in advance!

How do we even know these photos are actually taken with the OPO? There is no EXIF data. For all we know they were shot with another camera or edited in Photoshop. I sent the originator of the photos a message on the OnePlus site asking if he would mind taking a picture of his OPO and a piece of paper next to it with his name on it to help validate the authenticity. He refused saying he wouldn't do that. This company has been caught lying about stuff several times now, and they are running the most amateur marketing campaign ever. Really hard to trust or believe anything they have to say.

To the people saying compare it to this phone or that phone, it's being compared to a DSLR camera!! What is the point in comparing it with another phone if it's holding it's own against that beast?

1. No Exif on Nikon Photos!
2. Nikon photos are not even focused properly!
3. I guess the VR/IS on Nikon was turned off!
and this isn't a fair comparison!
Why?
Cuz at "auto" mode, most smartphones and digicams try to put their best, but a DSLR does the basics at "auto"!
Furthermore, my experience with smartphones like Galaxy series, PureViews, UltraPixels and DSLRs is somewhat different than yours, as a 1/3.0" sensor can not compete with a APS-C sensor. You cannot defeat nature Bro!
Big Sensor area, More Light!
Now please don't claim your OnePlus One can absorb light from body as well!

Many phones can get good photo in some situations but DSLR can handle more with the capability to adjust to needs. Auto Mode will limit the ability of adjustment on DSLR and make it act like a point and shoot camera, which is very easy to compare for phones.
I want to see the best of the phone, but limiting DSLR to compare and saying they are comparable, nah~~~~ Make it fair please.

Saturation goes through the roof, and the black/white points are also a bit odd... WTF is this algorithm. No thank you, I'll pass.
I prefer shooting with NATURAL settings, and post-process afterward, if we can actually speak about getting a decent phone photos.
In this category, nothing beats Samsung's S5 lens, and Nokia's shooters.

OMG what a poor comparison. First of all, some of the D3100 pics are not focused properly. Second, the D3100 is not a full-fledged DSLR. It's an entry-level DSLR that is two generations old now. And it's sensor is still quite good actually.

If this is true, so it's fully ironic. OnePlus One uses Sony's camera sensor, but it looks better than camera performance on Sony's own phone, even Z2 (according to the review).
It looks cleaner and grain less when zoomed.

Guys, i do believe that the pictures are taken by an OPO. The pictures taken are mostly macros, and if you guys are really into photography, you would know that the basic kit lenses of dslr cameras dont do that well. Its all about the lens used to take pictures. In OPO case, its a f2.0 aperture lens(rest not known to me). But fit in a proper f2.0 lens with macro capability on the Nikon, and it will take better pictures. But that gives no reason to rebuke the news and not believe that those pictures were taken by a phone.
Side note: I have no idea why ppl have the illusion that HTC One has a great camera.:S I dont even consider it a flagship grade camera. They should put that in a facebook or instagram phone :P.

I think many things of this phone are gonna turn out to be false, honestly a phone smaller than a z1 with 5.5 inch screen doesn't sound credible, that would be like a G2 and has a 5.2 screen and it's almost bezel free, and the camera samples it looks way better than the find 5 in low light and slight better than a dslr, not even the lumia 1020 or the HTC one looks that good and they are especially designed for low light photography, I believe that all this way too secretly about the phone is precisely to avoid trusted reviews before the launch so they could have a good start based on all this untrusted reviews and rumors.

Bah! Test it side by side with today's flagships; 1020, Z2, S5 and M8 and not with a DSLR. Dream on OnePlus!
Theres no EXIF or metadata available on the D3100 pics so a pinch of salt is needed.

Sorry for spamming a bit, I looked at the tag info for all the Nikon photos, they are all blank. Which meant the person who uploaded the photos specifically wanted to hide the shooting modes.
