I think I'm gonna sit this one out and stick another year with my Nokia 808PV.
At least my Symbian device has true multitasking, is loud, can record phonecalls automatically and takes terrific still images. Sure it doesn't do 4K but that's just propaganda. It means nothing as long as there isn't any 4K media to "consume" (like films and games). And more importantly, takes calls everywhere.

Butt ugly flat 2d look crap.
I've already seen that visually unappealing crap in the eighties I don't want to go back.
Where's the smooth textured and glossy 3D effect shadows etc... from the last few years? Windows Vista looked gorgeous just as Windows 7 did; with it's illuminated buttons, soft smooth shadow and silky smooth transparency. I want THAT improved upon not some stupid flat look.
If I want flat crap then I'll fire up my Commodore Amiga. Thanks but no thanks.

The icons are ugly. Luckily LG allows us to change the theme of the homescreen.

Well yes that is true. That's my point. In essence they are all borrowing ideas. Most of it is common sense though rather than copying.
Some of the only major things as copying or stealing would be apple.
Or Lg making G to basically be a Galaxy knock off.

Yes,I know they were the first to bring 12mp camera.But,if others copied them,same goes for Samsung for using 16/20 mp cameras and full hd screens.

And actually high resolution cameras is another thing people more copy from Samsung. They were the first in many major camera updates up to the 12MP ones. And basically only Nokia could bring better optics.

What?I never mentioned any of those things.And yes,all OEMS "copy" features and ideas.
If someone else using hd recording is copying from Samsung,then same goes for Samsung using higher resolution cameras.But as I said,you cannot count that as copying.

The new UI look is good, I hope the G2 can have this look in a future update, because for me the G2 size is perfect, if LG made the 5.5inch in the G2 body will be awesome and maybe I could accept the upgrade from G2 to G3

I think it looks nice but as someone mentioned, it is a disappointment to see the old app drawer. It doesn't look very good, the new transparent circle present in 4.4 is tons better than the one that LG is using here. They should definitely change that.

looks nice, better then the old one. Only disappointment they use the old app-drawer of android 4.0 - 4.3. Not the new 4.4. Whats the G on the tabs? kind of Blinkfeed?
