Let me educate you a bit, fellow: There is nothing called lagging as an absolute value. In order to measure lagging of some system you need to compare it to others. And you actually hit Android in its killing spot when you compared it to iOS!

Android is full of malware and its app store is quite messy. iPhone comparatively never lags. In fact solidity and smooth operation is the key sales point for all Apple products.

And lag is a reality thing not and Android thing.
Wp and IOS have some too. And many people are familiar with the crashes of IOS

I wondrr if the silver paint rubs off around the bezel of the phone showing black underneath like my s3 did in 2 weeks. It doesnt matter wot spec your phone is you will get lag on somethings its how android software works with the hardware thats the problem. people are getting lag with the s5 you could have 10gb ram and dual octa core 5ghz on android and still get long idle states and lag. I personally dont mind the odd lag here and there in the phone menu. I do mind on games though but android games are not coded well so its to be expected I dont play games on android phones anymore unless their free.

I am planning to buy LG G3 (32GB). I want to switch away from Samsung S3 for its lag in performance especially when openning "contacts" or "phone dialer" as the phone goes into some coma. Anyway, I feel that implementing QHD in a 5.5" display is an unnecessary tech but going further & squeezing QHD into a smaller S5's 5.1 inch display is a total waste of buyer-money & technology. Manufacturers like LG & Samsung should sell us devices with more internal storage like 128GB or even 256GB instead of selling us tech that is not beneficial to us like QHD in 5.1" or 5.5" displays. These techs are meant for publicity & bragging. Many of us need a 64GB or 128GB device but we cannot find it elsewhere other than the Samsung's website. We cannot rely on external microSD because latest Android versions prohibit using it for App installations so we have to use the internal storage. Also, internal storage supports downloading files larger that 4GB like torrent-files whereas external microSD cannot unless we root the device which most of us do not prefer. Take Galaxy S4 for example with 16GB internal: half of it (8GB) is used by Android OS + Touchwiz leaving only 8GB available to user. Install some big game titles each about 1.5GB which cannot be installed on external microSD and you will choke your smartphone & make it crawl on its knees.

Solid device. First S805 I believe?
Outclassed the original S5 which is at the top of the chain.
Now if only they had done this already with regular and bumped battery to 3000mah instead.

Xavier, 18 Jun 2014People complained about G3's QHD screen on a 3000mah batter... moreIt's a mold though. Huge difference.

Anonymous, 18 Jun 2014You don't want to achieve these speeds in the first place. ... moreActually u need this kind of speeds to use cloud services as if the files are on your device
Unless you get that experience you cant enjoy cloud storage fully
The reason why cloud services aren't taking off is because of the internet cap, price and speed limitations
Pushing consumers towards cloud storage has become a trend for device manufacturers and hence on their part they are trying to do everything they can to make this happen.....

BTW, this is not the S5 Prime/Galaxy F, which will have the metal chassis, 5.3 in, etc.
