The note 3 is the same height as the 2 but is thinner, lighter and narrower plus it had more grip on the back. I have had all notes and the 3 is the easiest to hold of the lot.

Maybe Samsung should make it a circle instead of a rectangle! Or maybe they could make it in the shape of an S!
The phone has to remain square because of the battery for one thing. Second, they have supposedly elected to use metal on the phone instead of plastic. And third you can't really have a pretty design if the back is going to be removable. And some people will want to have the device for two years so a removable battery is important.

Wow there are some insane posters these days. Guys, if you have a Note 3 there is simply no reason that you need to discourage other people from getting the Note 4. You have a great phone that is still fairly new. Do you upgrade your car every single year? Most likely not.
Second, some of you have to realize technological development on the consumer side is quickly slowing down. Most of the upgrades you think your getting are really just marketing attempts.
I for one have a Galaxy S3 that I preordered a little over 2 years ago. This will be a upgrade in every category for me. Good for you if you have a Galaxy S5, iPhone 5s, LG G3, etc. Most of you guys probably got those phones earlier this year so let us enjoy a new phone just like you probably enjoyed yours this year or last year.

Your eye's wont tell the difference in the increased resolution. 2. Fingerprint scanner old news on debuted on S5 big wup. 3.Slight SOC Chip bump (again) you wont notice a difference in app speed on the device. Oh Wait A sunburn warning. Now that Im willing to spend $800.00 or more dollars on...LOL

Apparantly we need to note in the comment section that the add features the note 3 and not note 4, since there are comments about how nothing has changed.
The Note 4 will have different looks. And probably higher resolution display. New camera module, with OIS. But perhpas the updates wont be enough for most Note 3 users, but I think there are a lot of Note 3 users, that want the latest and greatest, and will value the update that is the Note 4.

I don't care who copy's who, all I care is to have a good phone. If it means that one company has to copy what others phones and company has best so be it. I am a consumer and that's good for us, doesn't matter the company. For the moment note series is doing it for me. It might change in the future, who knows.

i agree.
i am a note 3 user and i love it.
but.
for me to change to a note 4 it will have to be way better than the note 3.
somehow i just dont see it...
