1208 is one the excelent cell , has got all the funtions one can expect from nokia.
the only problem is that of Battery.

no browser, limited phone book, no option for downloading mp3 ringtones
then 4mb memory is wht for?
is tht makeing sence?

I have this phone for about one week. So many people told me this phone has a good battety, but after 1st charging i talked about 2:30 hours and the battery was ready for another charging. I think it's not good time for talking...2:30 hours. Can the things change after the 2nd and the 3rd charging? :)

the phone is quite good with good battery time ... its kinda nice for a standby phone with good standby time ...good voice quality & good sound

Made n India fonz esp 1200 1208 teribble finish and flash is useless main screen light more better,just a gimmick.Indian are still as efficent n quality check than Hungarians. It is merely to listen and call message set. still 50$ to expensive n what u get.

@altheo yes this is colored fon. there is another model similar to this that is not colored.

Could any one tell about a color phone and this type of color phone. this is not a color phone as said in the gsm specs. it has only a backgound color. otherwise a good phone

i got the phone a couple of days ago and i love it. it goes well for me, i like the idea of the flashlight, it comes in handy.
its a great phone all-round!

ohh i wonder my 1208 mobile has FM tuner which others dont have...... it has a laser light tooooo...............oh i'm really a great fan of my 1208 mobile...........nokia rocks

original battery last me about 3 day(includes call and sms)when i put my extra battery with higher ampere from 1600 it reaches 4 1/2 day. its the best for me.
