Nokia has many unique features u can't get even in the latest smartest phones. If you want flashlight and other things u can get any smart phone.I have samsung galaxy s4 but it is shit compared to Nokia 6275 comparing call features.

Earlier nokia feature phones has Symbian s40 operating system. This one has none specified. Is this the classic s40 or another OS?

> In reply to viktor @ 2014-08-15 19:27 from rvXA - click to readHave one for work and find that the coverage available with the 515 is terrible. Had it alongside another Nokia candy bar phone which showed 4 bars of signal but the 515 showed Zero. It's a bad joke just how poor the reception is with the 515. Avoid it

My brother bought me this Nokia 515 from Dubai since it is not available here in the Philippines. It comes with the latest software version 10.34. The latest software version has a good battery life contrary to what others claim. One thing I noticed is the absence of equalizer in the music player contrary to gsmarena says in its review.

I have been using N 515 for the last 3 days just for voice calls and now 40 % charge is left which is satisfying , sound quality is better and camera is not so good as compared to other phones 5 MP cameras. It feels so stylish and premium with golden color! I have not used its 3G service, but there is a built-in option for it. Overall, it is costly for a feature phone like it.

I have been using Nokia all my life. And my last Nokia was a lumia 820 witch was perfect.
And decided to go for a simpler one, after some searching and comparing I end up choosing a Nokia 515.
And it was a complete disappointment from Nokia.
-Battery life last no more than 2 days
-cant use led flash as torch light(no app available)
-since no WiFi, can't use whats App or YouTube
-keep hanging
-Need paper clip or similar object to remove back panel
-no flash when video recording at night

I think Nokia should release similar phone but fix all the issue because this design overall is perfect.

  • I've got a question.

> In reply to Briany @ 2014-08-12 14:01 from mFBC - click to readWhen searching in contacts, can you search in random order or precisely the name you want to find?Example:In my s60 if I type Nick,a list of all nicks will come up,but in some older devices you have to remember if there is anything before Nick.I'm asking because specs say that this is s40 but 6th edition ,so I wonder if they changed that.

Nokia 515 is a failure! The battery does not go more than two days doing just call. Unplug night, in the light of the sun is not seen nothing. Softwer v.10.34 fairly slow Shte is scandalous. Do not buy this phone, you will regret it ..

Sorry about the question but when I connect my headset with call key to my Nokia 515, it writes out "Accessory not supported". Is it real or does it have setup in phone about this headset with call key?

> In reply to majes85 @ 2014-07-27 09:45 from p7uw - click to readits a beautiful basic feature phone.
flashlight is there but u can't use it as torch, eventhough u install apps for this still u won't be able to make the light to stay.
to save battery do the following which is very very crucial:
menu-apps-my apps-notifications-open this go to settings, disable whatsapp.
facebook, twitter & whats app are inbuilt apps.
but u won't be able to use these apps as it drains out the battery very very quickly.
don't register in whaps app thru this phone.
i don't think someone will use these apps in a feature phone for that u should buy a smart phone.
u can browse the internet in this phone, check ur mails(normally thru the internet site)do not use push mail or phone mail exchange servers.
to save more power
menu-settings-display-backlight to one block, backlight time out within 10 secs.
menu-settings-connectivity-mobile data-off(this means u can't use internet, but whenever u want to use the net, just switch it on.)
menu-settings-phone-device updates-auto update should be never, whenever required manually update it.
menu-settings-phone-network mode-gsm
